MOTION Videos Around the World

It's been fun to watch God expand the reach of Share the Story and He Changed Me as we adapt them into more languages.

These two existing series are being used:

• In 11 languages.
• By 46 teams.
• In 27 countries.

And we have 15 more languages in the works! That doesn't even include plans for the new Buddhist series. We recently heard from a church planter using Share the Story in Türkiye during in-person meetings that the series is encouraging people to ask questions. He shared:

There have been a couple of people that some of these videos have really got them to ask more questions about their faith, which have led to deeper conversations.

That's our hope. The goal of the videos we create is to inspire people of all cultures to follow Jesus. We develop videos in partnership with church planters who want to connect with the culture they’re trying to reach. We want to help searching people imagine being a follower of Jesus in their context.

Our goals as a team are to:

• Partner with church-planting teams to make contextualized videos.
• Offer the videos at little-to-no cost to the teams.
• Make the videos easy to access for church-planting teams.
• Adapt the series into more languages so that more people can hear the good news.

Here's a breakdown by region. Some teams overlap regions or languages. These are just the teams we know and have partnered with directly. Often the videos are used by more teams once they are sent out to the original team.

This is the region where Share the Story and He Changed Me have both initially been used, so it naturally represents the most countries and teams.

In this region, the teams are using the series not only to reach locals but often refugees from North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.

We're excited to create a series specifically for this region with the Buddhist project. It will mean sharing the good news with more people across Asia. Fun fact: In this region, our videos have been pirated in the past. This is not necessarily our preference, but we trust the Lord to use it as he wills.

Share the Story was produced in Spanish earlier this year. We'll also be translating He Changed Me into Spanish.
